78.Awesome mee bandung from Muar

I’m fasting today yet I’m posting this “makan-makan” entry. huhu. Here I was at Muar attending Kak Cik’s friends’ wedding cum assistant photographer on that day. After the ceremony we dropped by at the Mee Bandung Muar Restaurant to try the famous Mee Bandung. It’s really delicious I tell you…. Gonna come again someday!

69.Abah came with Yik Mun Pau !

Even we both are like cats and dogs I just forgive him because he is my ONLY abah in the world. Now abah is spending time at home with his 3 lil’ kittens and enjoying his hobbies.

I love you abah! [ when u’re in a good mood ] huhu.. Actually I love you everyday la abah..like I love Ibu too. Janganla selalu marah2. =p So here’s the pictures of the famous Pau in Tanjung Malim

67.Dinner @ Garden Deli, Tanjung Malim!

After Isya’ we  had our dinner at Garden Deli. Never been here before and after wandering around not knowing where to eat, I guess this is the best selection for today. Let’s see wether it’s worth it or not.

I ordered Laksa [ my favourite ] cuz I don’t want to eat something with rice and I think it’s worthy to pay Rm3.30 for a big bowl of yummeh Laksa!

..and a cup of latte always makes me happy!

My 4 other friends ordered nasi ayam Hainan, Nasi Ayam Panggang, Chicken Porridge and Wonton Soup. Over all conclusion we suggest u guys to have a try at Garden Deli whenever you’re in Tanjung Malim.. =)

66.Chocolate Ripple Rasberry Tart Recipe

I found this delicious recipe while browsing , mainly to escape from watching the gory scenes of Apocalypto. huhu.. Great films but FYI, am a coward kinda lady. theehehehe…btw, my TESL lecturer once told me to stop wasting time watching horror movies. Therefore, I have a strong reason tho’. =p

This can easily be made up to 4 hours beforehand. If you leave it longer, it will still taste delicious, but the biscuits become mushy making it hard to slice.

Ingredients

  • 200g chocolate ripple biscuits
  • 75g butter, melted
  • 250g (1 cup) mascarpone
  • zest of 1 lemon, grated
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 egg whites
  • 300g fresh raspberries

Method

Place biscuits in a food processor and whiz to form small crumbs. Add butter and process briefly. Press biscuit mix into base of a 20cm spring-form cake tin and refrigerate to set for at least 20 minutes.

Beat mascarpone with zest, juice, yolks and sugar. Add vanilla. Beat whites until almost stiff and fold through mascarpone. Spoon mixture onto biscuit base, top with raspberries and refrigerate until set.

Serves 6
